Saundersfoot tourist guide
Saundersfoot, a charming town complete with harbour and beach, is also located in the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park and is possibly best remembered for the railway that used to carry coal from Wiseman's Bridge to the port there. The reminder are the two low tunnels, each about 100 metres long, that have been cut through the rock on the cliff face.
Saundersfoot is a quite fascinating place for those who have an interest in local history and heritage as well as those wanting some fine views of from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The town has several small shopping streets and is worth noting for becoming well-known for its emerging and growing gourmet cuisine, so you will most certainly never want for some fine food.
