Tudor Cottage

Welsh holiday cottage location 5 star Welsh Tourist board

Tudor Cottage simply cannot be beaten for peace and quiet. There are mesmeric views across glorious North Wales scenery and the cottage is very private, well back from any noise from roads and away from the owners' other cottage.

This self-catering cottage has been awarded 5 stars by the Wales tourist board and makes a great base for a family or a group of friends exploring this part of North Wales - the Snowdonia National Park is one of a multitude of attractions on offer; enjoy lovely scenic walks from your doorstep where you'll hardly meet another soul! Llangollen, Ruthin, Harlech, Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed and Anglesey are all within easy reach.

The cottage has a lovely lake and kayaks are provided. It's also possible to swim, paddle and dive off the jetty at the deepest point (12 feet deep). The lake is fenced in, meaning it is safe for small children. More watersports are on offer in the town of Bala such as white water rafting, sailing, wind-surfing, swimming, fishing and canoeing. There are beautiful paths to go riding, mountain biking and the town also has the lakeside narrow gauge steam railway, pubs and restaurants, shops and takeaways. One notable pub, The Goat is family friendly and serves good food. This country cottage in Wales in a secluded spot is perfect for those wanting to get away from it all.
