Equally close are Hereford, with its lovely cathedral, and Hay-On-Wye, famed for its book and antique shops. Slightly further afield, the Brecon Beacons provides a wide choice of outdoor activities, from hang-gliding and paragliding to canoeing, kayaking, and rock climbing (all within easy reach of the holiday cottage).

Paradise Farmhouse is the original name of the property and is still appropriate for the modern convervion and its spectacular views. It is a place of exceptional peace and restfulness and provides very flexible accommodation.
There are two self-catering cottages, each sleeping 4. All the bedrooms have en suite bath or shower rooms. There is step-free access to the living / kitchen / dining room plus the ground floor bedroom in each cottage. One of the ground floor bedrooms has an en suite shower room which is fully accessible to wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility.
The kitchens have a four-ring gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave and dishwasher. A freezer and clothes-washing facilities are also provided. The spacious and comfortable living areas have a sound system with iPod dock and DAB radio. Each beautifully decorated bedroom comes with a flat-screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Crisp white bedding and towels are provided.
Guests also have access to the Games Room which has a wood burning stove, table tennis, board games, comfy sofas, and DVD players as well as hammocks outside and barbeque terrace. The owners provide ample supplies for the first morning's breakfast, including free-range eggs from a nearby farm, cereals, organic milk and Fairtrade tea and coffee.
