A beautifully refurbished self-catering cottage near Betws-y-Coed is on offer in this charming traditional farmhouse sleeping 4-5. The cottage nestles on an organic smallholding of 22 acres of fields where children can help feed the chickens, ducks and lambs. Accommodation has been sympathetically renovated using lime and retains many of the historic features and character of the traditional farmhouse but with all the modern comforts you'd expect - Wi-Fi broadband, ample hot water and underfloor heating throughout to make a very comfortable holiday cottage in a lovely setting.

Downstairs has an airy and open plan farmhouse kitchen with dining table, an Aga cooker, a Victorian kitchen range and period slate flooring. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and a washing machine, drier and fridge freezer are available in the nearby barn. There is ample room for rustling up a delicious homecooked meal from the fresh produce on your doorstep. It is possible to order organic produce delivered by 'Farmer's Garden' for a Friday delivery. The lounge area in the cottage has a cosy wood burning stove, traditional exposed beams, and TV and DVD player - making a perfect holiday cottage for relaxing in.

Ty Newydd is a 2 bedroom cottage, perfect for a family holiday or for two couples. The master bedroom has a double bed with fold-out single bed if required. In the second bedroom there are twin beds. There is also a beautiful bathroom with a freestanding bath, shower attachment and mixer taps. All rooms enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside

Outside, the cottage is surrounded by beautiful fields, and has its own garden and patio area complete with barbecue. There is ample parking and space for bicycles. Horses and dogs are welcome by arangement - guests are able to keep their horse in the fields near the cottage to take advantage of the abundance of horse trails near the cottage. The cottage adjoins agricultural buildings, still in use by the owners who live half a mile away.
