The cottage is one of three luxury cottage in the grounds of Llannerch Goch, a 17th Century country house close to the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed. The cottage sleeps 4, and is in a tranquil location in the Snowdonia National Park, bordering the village of Capel Garmon, in North Wales. Llannerch Goch is surrounded by gorgeous scenery, accessible to the Snowdonia Mountains and coast, and hugged by varied scenery of woodland, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. The Conwy Valley in which the cottage is located offers many outdoor activities - from walking, cycling fishing and horse riding.
The village of Capel Garmon, close to the cottage is home to a traditional Inn, dating from the 16th Century where you'll be welcomed by roaring fires and home cooked produce. The area has a choice of bustling market towns and pretty villages just 2 miles away is the famed inland resort Betws-y-Coed known for its wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants and Llanrwst, a market town of character that bridges the river Conwy, is just 3 miles away. Here you can relax with a cream tea in the surroundings of Tu Hwnt i'r Bont, once a courthouse.
The area enjoys a reputation amongst walkers - everything from energetic climbs up Mount Snowdon, to a gentle stroll in the Gwydir Forest is catered for. Cyclists can try everything from mountain biking to a gentle family cycle amongst the dedicated routes available through the forest. There is bike rental facilities locally and the cottage has lockable facilities for bike storage. Anglers will love the fantastic fishing on offer - from sea fishing to inland reservoirs or river fishing for trout and salmon.

This newly converted cottage sleeping 4 was originally a shippon - a place where livestock were kept. Its location, in the grounds of Llannerch Goch near Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia, North Wales is perfect for a relaxing romantic holiday away from it all. The cottage has been lovingly renovated, and the owner has restored many original features such as oak beams. Modernised to a high standard, it is centrally heated and double glazed and enjoys glorious views which span across to the Snowdonia peaks.
Siabod cottage has a large kitchen with tiled floor that has French windows where you can enjoy the gorgeous views.
The lounge is comfortably furnished and given a homely glow by a wood burning stove effect gas fire. The TV has Sky Freeview. Siabod has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with ensuite bathrooms so there's no morning rush! The master bathroom has a roll top bath, while the twin bedroom has a shower.
Outside, patio with table and chairs allows you to take in the beautiful views over a glass of wine or while dining al-fresco on those balmy evenings.
