Ty Gwenol
Llanbedr, Gwynedd, Snowdonia

Set in the spectacular Snowdonia National Park, Gilfach Goch Farm is an original 400 year old traditional 60 acre Welsh hill farm with sheep and cattle. The farm and the farm buildings are Grade 2 listed buildings. The farm is quiet and secluded with panoramic views over the sea and Lleyn Peninsula and is approached along a 1/2 mile private drive yet it is only a mile from the village of Llanbedr, one of the prettiest villages on the coastline.

The recent barn conversion is called Ty Gwenol meaning Swallows House and comfortably sleeps 8. This is a beautiful and spacious conversion of four barns dating from the 17th century retaining many original features including high oak beamed ceilings, internal stone walls and a hand crafted oak staircase. There are solid oak floors throughout with under floor heating. The 4th bedroom has its own kitchenette and shower room and can be let separately as a 2 person unit as Beudy Bach.

Within easy reach is the village of Llanbedr which although small has everything you may need including 2 pubs and a restaurant. It is probably one of the most picturesque villages on the Snowdonia coast and is just 10 miles from the beautiful beaches.

Snowdonia National Park is a wonderful part of Wales where people come to relax or enjoy the huge range of leisure activities available in spectacular surroundings. The landscape of Snowdonia is unique. There are nine mountain ranges which include many peaks that are over 3,000 feet. As well as the beauty and spectacle of the high mountains, Snowdonia has a varied landscape which includes steep river gorges, waterfalls and green valleys. Down at sea level, the beautiful Dyfi, Mawddach and Dwyryd estuaries make up part of the 23 miles of coastline and sandy beaches contributing to a landscape which has huge diversity.
