The city of St David's is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral St Davids it is in reality a small attractive village. It is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife. Whitesands Bay, one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, carries the prestigious European Blue Flag Award. St David's Cathedral has been the dominant presence since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the middle ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year. Adjacent to the cathedral stand the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishop's Palace. There is also a thriving artistic community in and around St David's with many galleries and studios to visit.

Pembrokeshire National Park is Britain's only truly coastal national park. It's a spectacular landscape of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, wooded estuaries and wild inland hills, and a place of sanctuary for wildlife. People belong here, too. They have shaped the landscape over the centuries, leaving their mark in tombs and castles, crosses and cottages, quarries and quays. Today this is a living, working landscape where people and nature co-exist in this idyllic part of Wales.

The accommodation is all to a very high standard with redecoration each year - it is a 5 star Welsh holiday cottage! The kitchen is modern and fully fitted complete with a double fan oven and Halogen hob. Relax in the spacious sitting room with a log fire and comfortable furniture. French doors lead out onto the covered veranda and large patio. There is ample room in the dining area with a large table, high beamed ceiling and galleried archways. Two of the seven bedrooms are on the ground floor, both with twin beds. Also downstairs are the shower room, cloakroom and utility room. Upstairs there are a further five bedrooms. All have interior sprung mattresses and good quality pillows and duvets with synthetic fillings. There are two bathrooms both with electric showers. Outside there is a secluded walled garden with large sunny terrace and shady veranda. There are plenty of places to sit and relax or enjoy some outdoor dining. Also in the garden is a summer house which serves as a Games room; enjoy table tennis, a game of pool or some board games. There is plenty of parking space, room for several cars. Directions: St David's has become even quicker and easier to reach from the continuing extension of the M4 westwards. Head for Haverfordwest which can be reached from the M4, M50 and A40.
