The owner has a second property nearby, and together the houses can sleep up to 18 guests. The cottage is situated in a peaceful location just outside the village of Moylegrove, within walking distance of the charming Ceibwr Bay, which becomes a nursery for seal pups in the Autumn, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Nestling in extensive private gardens, this period property is conveniently situated for for exploring this rugged and alluring part of the Pembrokeshire coast. The area boasts spectacular cliffs and clean sandy beaches - there are 3 within a 3 mile radius of the cottage - with caves and rock pools that are safe for children. It is the ideal base for a family holiday in Wales. There are many other children'sactivities including Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park and Oakwood Theme Park which has an abundance of white knuckle rides for all the family!
Pembrokeshire National Park is Britain's only truly coastal national park and it would be hard to resist the water. Those looking for an activity break can choose from a selection of watersports - sailing, powerboating, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, diving and seafishing. For land-based activities, walking, horseriding or cycling can be done through the Gwaun Valley and the Preselli Hills.
This is a place where many endangered species have thrived. There are sightings of dolphins, seals and basking sharks. Whales and turtles have been spotted in Ceibwr Bay. The rare red kite is frequently seen in the skies above the cottage and wildlife in abundance can be enjoyed by walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. It is a landscape shaped by people too, and castles, churches and rough stone quarries are as much part of the scenery as the flora and fauna.
The cottage is situated near the quaint market town of Cardigan and the pretty village of Newport among the stunning scenery of the Pembrokeshire National Park.

Accommodation:
The entrance to Hafod Grove House is through a beautiful arched hallway, with polished wooden floors and a wide passageway which narrows as it leads into the kitchen, at the centre of the house. The large farmhouse kitchen has the Aga at its heart and a dining table that seats 12 making self-catering for a large group easy and sociable. There are two beautiful reception rooms, both with open fires and tiled fire places. The first room has a dual aspect and gorgeous period features. The second reception room comes complete with a piano, so you can make your own entertainment! French doors lead out of this room to a sunny patio, a fine place to relax with a glass of wine before dinner.
The house has been equipped with all your technology needs - TVs, a DVD, Sky digibox and free wireless internet access throughout. A selection of boardgames and a book library has also been provided for those rainy days.
This spacious home has ample facilities for a large group with 3 bathroom/shower rooms, and 6 bedrooms. One bedroom is downstairs, beautifully furnished and with a TV and sofa, it is situated opposite a downstairs shower room, making it accessible for the elderly or anyone who has walking difficulties. A classic dogleg staircase leads upstairs with a grand church window halfway up. The house also has servants' stairs - should you be fortunate enough to have brought your own butler!
Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious and tastefully furnished with antique furniture and a vanity unit. From the window there are views of the sea. The luxury art nouveau en-suite bathroom has a double ended french bath as well as a power shower. Along the hall, two charming twin-bedded rooms overlook the garden. One is equipped with a wash hand basin and both are decorated with pretty furnishings. The king-sized bedroom is comfortable and spacious, with some great period features and a pretty vanity unit. From the window, you can enjoy the far-reaching views to the sea in the distance. The final bedroom overlooks woodland and contains 2 space-saving bunk beds, ideal and fun for the children to sleep in. Upstairs also contains a family bathroom with rolltop bath and power shower.
The house is situated in nearly 2 acres of grounds, with its own woodland, a lawn, swings for the children and a patio and barbecue area, perfect for outside dining.
The owner has another property nearby in which dogs are allowed which sleeps 6. Both cottages can be booked together for sleeping accommodation for up to 18.
