The light and airy split level barn is the converted part of the house, with high ceilings, comfortable furniture, a tape deck and radio, and a selection of books and games including useful tourist information and walking guides to help you plan your day in the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. The lounge leads to a beautifully handbuilt glass and wood conservatory, where you can relax, read and watch the friendly robins feed near the cottage. The conservatory has day beds that double up as additional sleeping space should you need it. An addtional smaller lounge in the older part of the cottage, has an inglenook fireplace with woodburning fire, piano, comfy armchairs, and a TV and DVD player - great if the kids want to watch their favourite movie. The house has broadband internet - you just need to bring your own laptop.
At the heart of this rambling Welsh holiday cottage is a lovely large farmhouse kitchen which has tradtional stone floor, handmade wooden cabinets and a walk-in pantry. The kitchen is well equipped with an abundance of pots and pans, cooking implements and baking equipment and there is a dining table with enough space to seat 8. Cooking is by gas cooker, with a fridge just off the kitchen and an additional freezer, plus washing machine in the outbuilding just beside the house. Eco-friendly washing tablets and cleaning products are provided.
The master bedroom is above the large living room, bright and spacious with period furniture and a lovely window seat that looks out over the patio below.
