Valley View Cottage is a spacious cottage nestling in the heart of the beautiful Ceiriog Valley, around five miles from Llangollen and not far from Oswestry on the Welsh side of the Welsh/English border. Whilst easily accessible from Birmingham and Manchester, The Ceiriog Valley is a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Valley View Cottage is part of a 16th Century barn conversion, with spacious accommodation. It’s ideal for lone travellers, couples and/or familes looking for a peaceful holiday in the stunning Welsh landscape. There are a number of country pubs nearby, all serving food, accessible by foot or by a short drive. There is also an excellent, reasonably priced taxi service in the are and a bus stop outside a farm just down the lane. The nearest shop is just over a mile away and is open seven days a week. There are many walks right from the doorstep – you can set off in virtually any direction and enjoy stunning scenery. There is seasonal pony/horse trekking and quad biking, with a Pony Trekking and Quad Bike Centre just down the lane. Valey View Cottage can be booked for either week-long (or longer) holidays or shorter breaks.

 

Accommodation: Valley View Cottage is a spacious cottage with two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a comfortable double bed. The double room is very large, with stunning views out to the river and down The Ceiriog Valley. There is a fully equipped shower toom with towels provided if required. Downstairs is a large living room with comfortable sofas and Sky Television (Freeview) and video. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and other utensils. There is dedicated parking to the rear with low level lighting for ease of access at night time.
