Croiddur Barn is a beautiful 200 year old former farm store, which, along with the owner’s other cottage, nestles on a rural estate a mile from the picturesque village of Cilycwm. It's an ideal spot for a walking holiday with hill trails and woodland paths on your doorstep and mountains all around. There are excellent opportunities for bird-watching, mountain biking, riding and fishing close by, as well as many activities for children. This part of Carmarthenshire is one of Wales' best kept secrets as it's not a traditional tourist spot, so you can enjoy the spectacular scenery without fighting through the summer crowds. Croiddur Barn is a perfect base for exploring the castles and gardens of this lovely region and some of the most beautiful coastline in Wales is less than an hour's drive.

Situated in a part of West Wales that is steeped in history, visitors choose it because of its wonderful coastline which has numerous sandy beaches and wonderful opportunities for walking, including the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastal path. The cottage is just outside St Clears, a small seaside town just 10 miles west of the bustling town of Carmarthen. Laugharne Castle is approx 10 minutes away and the shopping town of Narberth approx 20 minute drive. Adjacent to the barn is 40 acres of private woodland with tracks suitable for walking at all times of the year and the valley is perfect for birdwatching - at the last count there was 47 species!

Upper Cottage is situated in the peaceful countryside near to the village of Drefach Felindre, home of the National Woollen Museum and within a short drive of the coastlines of Cardigan Bay and North Pembrokeshire. The area has many opportunities for golfing, riding and fishing within easy reach. The cottage is one of two, with a larger property that sleeps 4-6 within the same grounds. It provides an excellent base for those who enjoy walking, birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing in their own private gardens in this lovely part of Wales.

The cottage nestles in a peaceful, elevated rural setting with lovely views and easy access to woodland walks. It is also very close to lovely sandy beaches, bustling market towns, beautiful gardens and many activities for children. Within easy reach is the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline so there plenty of opportunities for walking, swimming, surfing and sea-fishing. The 7 miles of golden sands at Pendine Beach are a short drive away and the cottage is 5 miles from Laugharne - famous for being the home of Dylan Thomas.
