It is described as "The Garden of Wales" and you only have to see the lush pastures of the Tywi valley to understand why. It also has spectacular beaches with Cefn Sidan Sands being the largest beach in Wales. There are many family attractions and activities with a whole range of educational visits and fun-filled days out to choose from. The varied landscape of the surrounding area makes it a wonderful destination for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and hill walkers, cyclists, horse riders and watersports enthusiasts will not be disappointed. Accommodation:
This converted 19th century piggery on an organic dairy farm has a comfortable, fully equipped kitchen/dining/living room with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove. There is a farmhouse-style table with seating for 4 and a sofa and armchairs. Books, board-games and videos are plentiful. The bedrooms are simply and attractively furnished and have exposed beams. The bathroom has a lavatory, bath, wash-basin and washing-machine.

Visitors are able to see how a real farm works and to see the cows being milked and to walk over the land with its stunning views over the Teifi Valley.

Directions:
Follow the national road network to Carmarthen. From Carmarthen take A484 for about 12 miles to the village of Rhos. Turn right onto A486 for about 1/2 mile, turn right at a small cross-roads and go down the lane, past a small house and on over a stone bridge and up the track to the farm.

What's included:
All heating, logs, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the price. One well behaved dog has no charge but two dogs are charged at £20.00. Dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time.

Change over day is Saturday. Departure by 10.00am, arrival not before 3.00pm.

There is a small farm shop selling home-produced beef and lamb and also organic and fair-trade basic goods, including local cheeses. Fresh cakes and bread are baked to order.
