The cottage has a super new kitchen, hand built with a granite work top - it is fully equipped with an oven, fridge, washing machine and all the utensils you need to rustle up a candlelit supper.
The double bedroom upstairs has dual aspect overlooking the village and woods to the front and the river and hillside at the rear. This is very attractively decorated and furnished. Beds are made up on arrival with white linen.
A small single bedroom is also on the first floor, suitable for a child or small adult.
The surroundings are really heavenly with ample opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including herons, Red Kites and even leaping salmon which can be spotted from the veranda at the rear of the cottage. The lovely seating areas front and back are perfect for reading, drinking or dining alfresco. A barbecue is supplied, where budding anglers' catch of the day can be grilled... or lamented as the one that got away!
