The Stables is sympathetically converted from an agricultural building, adjoining the former farmhouse. This lovely cottage sits in half an acre of orchard garden, a space shared with free range chickens! It is 4 miles from Cemaes Bay and Amlwch, both of which have shops and a selection of pubs serving food and enjoys a lovely rural setting with many walks from your doorstep. Beautiful Anglesey has 125 miles of coast and a very scenic coastal path. There are many attractions and a variety of areas to discover from coast, countryside and open fields to forest and lakes. The gorgeous beach at Lyn Alau provides fishing, walking and birdwatching opportunities and there are many scenic cycle routes signposted on the island (information is available near the cottage.)

The Holy Island is only a 14 miles drive from The Stables cottage. Separated by a narrow channel but linked by road, it contains a diversity of wildlife and habitats ranging from dunes, mudflats, and marshes. A working windmill at Meln LLynnon is only 4 miles away, and the Cemlyn nature reserve is also close by. The cottage is perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia, or even Ireland, via ferry from Holyhead.

So for breathtaking beaches, wildlife and cycling, swimming, and activities galore, the Stables is the perfect choice for a self-catering family holiday in Wales.

Accommodation: The accomodation consists of a lovingly converted Stable with a double 'crogloft' style bedroom overlooking an open plan lounge. There are also 2 futons in the main living room/kitchen diner which is cosy and well equipped, with central heating to keep it snug on those chilly evenings. A table and chairs mean you can can dine in comfort and catch up on the day's events. There is also Sky TV to help you unwind after a busy day sightseeing and enjoying the local scenery. In addition there is a lovely summerhouse so you relax outside too. The cottage also accepts well behaved pets so the dog can come too! Short breaks are available from up to £50 per night so why not book the perfect cottage to get away from it all and relax in comfort on the unspoilt Island of Anglesey. Directions: The Stables Cottage is situated 4 miles inland from picturesque Cemaes Bay and a short drive from Amlwch. Full directions available when booking. What's included: April-September, all heating and gas is included in the price - £20 per week supplement at other times. All bed linen is included but please bring your own towels and beach towels. Check in time is after 2.30pm. Departure time is before 10am. Rent from £200-£350 per week. Short breaks are welcome - up to £50 per night for 4 people. £10 per head if more than 4 people.
