Hen Y Stablau (The Old Stables) is a gorgeous conversion of 19th Century stables sympathetically renovated by a local architect who retained the oak beams and added to much of the quirky character of the cottage. Sleeping 7 in 4 bedrooms, the cottage is ideally placed for exploring the island of Anglesey - perfect for a family but also a romantic break for a couple. Sand dunes and sandy beaches of Rhosneigr are 5 minutes drive away, and the mountains of Snowdonia, visible from the cottage garden, are only 30 minutes.
This is a beautiful cottage with many original features situated in a quiet lane on the edge of the village of Bryngwran, convenient for exploring the most glorious coastline in Britain where windsurfing, deep sea fishing and swimming are on offer. There are many other activities for all the family - 6 golf courses are near by, and go-karting, horse riding are easily accessible from this wonderful cottage. This part of Wales offers a variety of days out - the Sea Zoo, boat trips to Puffin Island and the South Stack Lighthouse are easily accessible, while Beaumaris Castle and Henblas Country Park are on your doorstep.

The Old Stables is an lovely cottage full of original features and beautifully presented and centrally heated throughout. This roomy cottage can accommodate 7 people in 4 bedrooms making it a great Welsh holiday cottage for a large family. Discounts are also available for couples - so its perfect for a relaxing break in spacious surroundings.
The main lounge is welcoming, with lots of character, exposed oak beams and a large fireplace with log burning stove. (Logs are included to keep you snug in all weathers.) This spacious living room has plenty of room to chill with comfortable armchairs, a CD player, colour TV with Freeview, video and DVD player.
The cook in your family will love preparing meals in the quaint, wood panelled farmhouse kitchen. Well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, electric oven and hob, it has all the utensils you could need. There is a separate utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, large freezer and second WC. The kitchen is linked to the dining room by a good sized serving hatch making it easy to serve up laid-back breakfasts on holiday. The cottage has internet connecton via wireless broadband located in the main dining / kitchen area but the connection can be slow at times.
This Anglesey holiday home has two double bedrooms, one single and one twin with restricted height entrance. The family bathroom is equipped with electric shower over the bath, wash hand basin and WC.
The cottage garden is home to a century old willow tree and a pond that encourages wildlife and birds to the garden. Children are recommended to be supervised when in the garden. Perfect for birdwatching or taking it easy - the ideal cottage for a relaxed family holiday or for a couple on a short break in beautiful surroundings on Anglesey.
From the A55 take junction 5, following signs to Bryngwran. Slow down as you enter the village on the old A5. At the village chapel on your left, is a small white cottage with a blue door. Turn left into the small lane behind the cottage - past the Old Rectory on your right. The Old Stables is the very next property.
There is full central heating with additional heating from the wood-burning stove in the sitting room. Electricity is charged on a per use basis through a meter reading.
