The nearby village of Llanfaethlu provides a local shop, plus a coffee shop and fish and chip takeaway. The beach at Borthwen is just down the hill and joins the Anglesey Coastal footpath which winds its way along the cliff tops towards Church Bay - home to the popular Lobster Pot seafood restaurant, Wavecrest cafe and Church Bay Inn
A stay at Moranedd offers the opportunity for many outdoor pursuits, including water sports and sea kyaking. A golf course is only ten miles away, and there are plenty of attractions for children such as Pili Palas, butterfly Farm, The Sea Zoo and Foel Farm. Accommodation:
Moranedd is over 100 yrs old, and whilst it still holds many of its original features, it has lovingly been brought up to date with fixtures and fittings. The house itself is spacious and light, and offers much space for large families and groups.
Downstairs you will find a large kitchen, country breakfast room, 2 sun rooms, one reception room with adjoining reading room, grand dining room, family bathroom, another w.c and a twin bedroom. Upstairs you will find the master double bedroom, the mistresses double bedroom, two twin rooms. All rooms have large windows, allowing light to flood in and are decorated to a high standard. The landing is large and there is also an upstairs shower room with wc. WiFi is available.
What's included:
Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating and electricity is
included in the rental price. You'll also find a supply of logs for
the wood burner.
Change over day is Friday and Tuesday. Check in is
after 3pm, check out before 10.30am. Short breaks available in low season, please enquire.
The property is baby and child friendly. Pamper packages are available for ladies, hamper included.
Directions:
Take A55, turn off for Valley, at the lights turn right. Carry on along coast road until Llanfaethlu, then turn off for Llanfaethlu, carry on straight through towards the sea, down a dip in the lane, up to the top of hill and Moranedd is on the left.
