The Anchorage is a perfect 'home from home'
for family holidays. Located in Church Bay on the
beautiful north west coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the cottage is
spacious and well-equipped and situated only 100 metres away from the
award winning Blue Flag beach, Porth Swtan. A fantastic place
to swim, paddle and build sandcastles. The more adventurous
visitor can enjoy a range of watersports, such as diving and sea
kayaking.
The Anchorage cottage is set in the
grounds of the Lobster Pot. Not only, can you try out the famous local
seafood dishes in the restaurant but the kids will be welcome to visit the
Lobster holding tanks. Guests at the cottage can also use the pretty
gardens of the Lobster Pot during their stay.
The surrounding
cliffs of Church Bay provide a stunning setting for your holiday. Home to
Peregrine Falcons, Choughs and Fulmers, Church Bay is popular with bird
watchers. The coastal path gives walkers access to excellent walking in
breathtaking scenery. The Island of Anglesey is an area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty.

Accommodation:
The Anchorage
is a spacious four bedroom cottage. The property is entered through
an ample porch area, where there is plenty of room to store outdoor
footwear and all the essentials for a day at the beach. The ground
floor of the cottage has a large open plan lounge, and dinner.
Refurbished to a high standard and furnished with oak furniture, the
cottage is stylish and tastefully decorated.
The
well-designed kitchen is fully equipped with a breakfast bar, and
you'll need to cater for the family. The ground-floor also has a
utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also
shower room with w.c and washbasin. Handy for washing the sand off
after a day at the beach.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are light
and spacious. The two double bedrooms have ensuites. The two twin
rooms share the upstairs family bathroom. All the rooms have sea and
countryside views. The Anchorage has its own outside space with
table and chairs, and ample parking.
Location/Directions:
Follow A55 to Valley, turn
right at traffic lights. Go through Llanfaethraeth, turn left at
LLANFAETHLU. Drive 2 miles to Church Bay, turn left, Anchorage
located 50 metres on the right.
What's included:
Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating and Electricity is
included in the rental price. You'll also find a supply of logs for
the wood burner.
Change over day is Saturday. Check in is
after 2pm, check out before 10.30am. The property is available for
short-breaks, and all guests will be given a 10% discount at the
Lobster Pot restaurant.
